Love is amazing

One day, you asked yourself “Will I ever be in love again?” but the real deal is “Are you ready to be in love?”
During family gatherings the famous question is always asked, “May boyfriend ka na?” Paki mo kung wala? hahahaha. But honestly, masaket beh. It hurts that every family gathering, I ALWAYS get this question when they know the answer. It hurts not because I don’t have a boyfriend but because they have this mentality that it is vital to have a boyfriend! Eneber? Nakakamatay ba ang di pagboboyfriend? Di ako na-inform!
After college graduation, I promised myself that I won’t fall for the wrong guy, not anymore! I’ve guarded my heart so much, so much that I can’t even remember the feeling of “kilig”. Paano ba? Well, a guy just reminded me of that feeling.
We started out as friends chatting and talking to each other every single day. But it’s amazing how I saw him in a different light. At first, I didn't considered him on my prayers but time goes by, our friendship became deeper and it’s amazing how in our simple conversations, sharing thoughts about our faith, I’ve come to ask God, “Am I ready, Lord?”

Now, we are praying for each other, he literally visits me at home and we pray together. I know it will be a very long journey but I love it when I know that it was Jesus who is at our center.
Love is amazing. Amazing in how someone can change our mood just by simple liking our posts, or by the simple “Good morning” because he know you’ll read it when you wake up. And when you both share the bible verse you had for the day. It’s amazing because for the longest time I haven’t been open to myself about this topic, now I want to talk about it! Thank you Lord for this, for him(bahala ka na kung sino maisip mo)
Love,
